The UK Prime Minister plans to press supporting countries to provide Ukrainian forces with additional extended-range weaponry to hit Russian targets during discussions in London on the upcoming Friday.

Sir Keir plans to receive Ukraine's leader Zelensky alongside what's known as "alliance of supportive nations", including more than 20 of Ukraine's allies who have pledged to grant the Ukrainian government protection commitments once fighting stops is arranged.

Ukraine's president has been appealing for an extended period for further extended-range systems from the West, an action that the Russian government has cautions would escalate the war.

Sir Keir will urge participants to ramp up the supply of extended-range systems following an effective attack on a chemical plant in the Russian city, the Russian Federation, using UK-provided advanced weaponry.

"Additionally, his horrific assaults on young children in a preschool in recent days make that abundantly clear," he added.

Several minors were among no fewer than seven killed in multiple Moscow's attacks on Ukrainian territory, which hit a daycare center in the major urban center Kharkiv.
